:: Our History

The Jensen-Sundquist agency has a rich tradition of specializing in the needs of people in Northwest Wisconsin.

Walter Jensen, president of First Bank of Grantsburg, established the agency in 1945. Swede Sundquist was a partner with the bank and was involved with the original implementation of the agency.



The agency grew over time and was sold to John Fink, a First Bank of Grantsburg agent, in 1988. John moved the insurance agency to its current location and ran the agency for ten years. He sold the business to its current owners, Mike and Carol Alderman, in 1998.

Mike and Carol added the additional locations of Milltown in 2006 and Siren in 2003. The agency has grown to over 2,587 policyholders.
